The book is a true sentiment and fairly accurate account of things as I remember them. Not many auto-biographies mean much to me, but this one will be treasured forever. Sensei Milner was my hero and to this day remember him as a great mentor, teacher and father figure. The fact he remembered me and (I think proud of me) fills me with so much honour. His guidance is the reason I am who I am today. Bless you Sensei, you taught me many things, Humility being the key lesson!!

A brilliant book. I can remember being part of some of the courses etc and it brought back good memories. Phil was a legend and will never be forgotten a true master.
My Sensei, My mentor, and my friend. Still missed after all this time.

I have just purchased this book, i received it in the post yesterday and finished reading it yesterday.
I used to train with Phil at Low Edges, and he was a legend and always will be, it was just as though he was sat at the side of me whilst i was reading it, it made me chuckle and i also shed a few tears remembering the good old days. It is a very good read whether you knew phil or not, and if you did know him you will know lots of the characters that pop up through the book, love you phil, cherish the memories, sarah xx
